What is RSP Special List?

RSP Special List is a list of funds where you are not required to have an initial investment for the funds before starting the RSP. The minimum RSP investment amount for most of the funds is SGD100 per month. RSP Special List is available to FSM investors from 15 January 2010 onwards.

As of 15 January 2010, we have included 170 funds in the RSP Specialist List. To view the full list of RSP Special List, click here.

Please note that for other funds that are not included in the RSP Special List, you are still required to invest at the minimum initial investment amount first before starting the RSP.

What is RSP?

A Regular Savings Plan (RSP) is a monthly subscription plan that enables you to invest a fixed amount of money at regular intervals into a particular fund. At Fundsupermart, the transaction date for RSP subscription contracts is the 8th of every month if it is a business day and fund-trading day. Otherwise, the transaction date will be the next business day.

Investors are required to have an initial investment for the particular fund before starting the RSP (with exception of the funds in the RSP Special List). Minimum initial investment amount for most of the funds is SGD1000.

Why RSP?

There are many benefits of having a RSP and the most attractive benefit is that RSP utilises the dollar cost averaging concept (DCA) of investing, which is the practice of investing a fixed amount of money regularly, regardless of market conditions. The DCA is a strategy that works well in uncertain market environments. Our research article, "Dollar Cost Averaging Method" helps you to get a better understanding about this investment strategy.

Below are some of the feature benefits of RSP:

Low entry requirement

Start investing with as little as S$100.

RSP Special List funds

Start an RSP at the minimum RSP amount for our Special List funds without minimum initial purchase.

No lock-in period

Easily terminate or modify your RSP upon your request.

Convenient payment

RSP investment amounts are deducted automatically from your GIRO bank account or CPF/SRS.
